Canada, which is represented by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), is scheduled to compete at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, United Kingdom, from 27 July to 12 August 2012. Canadian athletes have competed in every Summer Olympic Games since 1900, except the 1980 Summer Olympics which they boycotted.

The COC has set a goal of finishing in the top 12 in total medals.[1]

Mark Tewksbury has been named chef de mission and Sylvie Bernier has been named assistant chef de mission.[2]

Athletics

Equestrian

Canada has qualified a full team in dressage and eventing team competitions through the 2011 Pan American Games. Canada has qualified a team in jumping team competition.[6]

Canada has also qualified 3 athletes in the individual dressage competition, and 5 athletes in the individual eventing competition.[6] They have also qualified 4 athletes in the individual jumping competition.
