Essa Nagri

Essa Nagri or Eissa Nagari or Issa Nagari (Template:Lang-ur) is one of the neighbourhoods of Gulshan Town, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Eissa or Issa or Isa, the Arabic name for Jesus. There is large Christian population in this neighborhood of Karachi. Eissa Nagari literally mean City of Jesus. Eissa Nagaru is situated along Sir Shah Suleiman Road in Gulshan Town.

There are several ethnic groups in Gulshan Town including Muhajirs, Sindhis, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochis, Memons, etc. 80% of the population is Muslim and 20% is Christian. The locality has couple of Catholic churches and missionary schools in this area. The population of Gulshan Town is estimated to be nearly one million.
