North: Nanupur union
East: Kawkhali Upazila
South: Kawkhali Upazila
West: Baktapur union & Jafotnagar union

As of 1991 Bangladesh census, Dharmapur union has a population of 20,168 and house units 3469.

Late Mofzal Ahmed - from Billal Mazir bari, was a govt. officer, established Dharmapur Primary and High School near Ramjurhat.
- Dr. M. Zahid Hasan, assistant professor, urologist and kidney transplant surgeon working at a national level.
- Dr. M. Anwar Pasha Chy.(1926-2005) - a famous physician in that part of Chittagong, practiced medicine in Azadi Bazar of that union from 1953 to 1997.

Dr. Anwar Pasha Chowdhury was a famous physician in this area of Fatickchari. He started practicing in 1953, and worked until 1998 when he became sick. He was the first graduate allopathy doctor in the area. Dr Anwar died in 2005.
