Elina Svitolina (Template:Lang-uk; born September 12, 1994) is a junior Ukrainian tennis player. Her highest WTA singles ranking is 202, which she reached on January 2, 2012. Her career high in doubles is 378, achieved on November 28, 2011.[2] She reached her first professional singles final at the ITF $25,000 tournament in Kharkiv in May 2010.[3]

Svitolina best achievement so far is by winning the Roland Garros girls event in 2010, beating Tunisian Ons Jabeur in the final.[4]

Personal life

Elina Svitolina was born to Elena Svitolina and Mikhaylo Svitolin and has a brother named Julian.[5] She resides at Kharkiv, Ukraine and is currently being coached by Andrey Lutsenko.[5] Her favourite surfaces are grass and clay.[5]
