Terry Pettus
Terry Pettus (October 11, 1990 – current was a Bonne Terre, Missouri legend.[1][2]
Originally from French Village, Missouri,[1][2] son of a Great Man, Pettus, aka T, attended North County High School and ruled Southeast Missouri. T Pettus and his solid group of friends were widely regarded as being better than everyone else. Being a proud Raider, T and his friends despised the Farmington Knights and the Central Rebels. T has been quoted saying, "The only thing good in Farmington is BWW". This quote is very famous in the area and many of the youth who look up to Pettus and his friends regard it as fact. T is a big fan of sports and especially the San Diego Chargers; Pettus hopes for a Chargers Super Bowl victory in the near future.[2]
In 2009, Terry Pettus graduated from North County High in the top 5% of his class and with the respect of his peers and all the teachers at the school. Nicole Seaton, a science teacher at NCHS, said "Pettus may be the best student to ever walk through the halls at North County". He also became North County's first member of the American Legends Association, a group which was founded to recognize elite citizens such as himself. An invitation to the Legends Association is one of the most prestigious awards ever. Every member is hand picked by Pettus, the legend himself. Pettus is a big fan of Johnny Cash has no respect for anyone who isn't. To gain T's respect you have to be an honest, hard-working, confident person who is a Johnny Cash fan, and most of all, not trash. People who have T's respect are Friends and Most Family, (the Members of the Armed Forces), (Elders, and Ralph Ogden.)[2]
The Daily Journal did a story on Pettus and how others follow the things that he says. T's opinion that Sprite, is God's Tears boosted the sale of Sprite worldwide and helped the U.S. out of the recession it was in during 2009. This is just one example of how the things Pettus says directly effect not only Missouri, but every citizen of the United States. Dunk Champion and NBA All-Star, Dwight Howard gave a shout out to Pettus during his postgame interview in the Olympic Games. That is how much of a big deal T Pettus is! In the words of National Champ, Cody Compton, "It's a little bit about how big of a deal you are, and believe me, T Pettus is a big deal". Also in 2009, Pettus joined the group Buffalo Wild Wings on (Facebook). It is simply a group where people talk about how much they like Buffalo Wild Wings, it's pretty cool. He also founded the LAQ, a Social Club (most people agree with the groups views, although some view them as a bit Extreme). Pettus is a Conservative, and the LAQ is based upon conservative values.[2]
In late 2008 Pettus recorded 11 goals in a game of WallBall. To my knowledge, that is an NCHS record. Pettus tried to convince the school board that NCHS, (or the "Raiders"), needed a WallBall team. This ,however, is one of the few things Pettus has failed at in his life. Sadly, Pettus ended his senior year without the creation of a WallBall team. Pettus is a master of "Skill, awareness, and mouthing", all of which lead Pettus to victory nearly every time he steps foot on the court for a game of WallBall. Pettus had originally learned the game at age 15 and fell in love with it instantly. Pettus' love for WallBall can be compared to Brett Favre's love of football.[1]
Pettus is truly a wonderful person. I really believe that if everyone was like him, there would be no problems with the world. The greatness of Pettus will never fully be recognized until he is dead and gone. I am fully convinced that your children will read of Pettus' success in History Books. Maybe by then parents will raise their children to be like Pettus.[3] King of the Hill is a great show for children of all ages, Hank Hill teaches many life lessons to Bobby and when watching your kids can learn those same life lessons. If you ever catch your child watching Dragonball Z, or something stupid like that, just listen to T Pettus' advise and only allow your child to watch sports, King of the Hill, or movies directed by or starring Clint Eastwood. Gran Torino is a great film showing the damage that foreigners can do to our youth in small towns. In this movie, Clint Eastwood, being the great American that he is, takes up for a foreign boy who is having some trouble with his typical "gang banger" cousin. What a great person Clint is.[1] ,[2] Pettus wishes to be like Clint Eastwood when he is an old man.[1][2] .[2]
Pettus loves America and believes that you are a lesser person if you don't. The great author, Stephen Colbert,[1][2] explains this well in his book I Am America(And So Can You).[2] Seattle mayor Charles Royer honored Pettus with an official Terry Pettus Day, and the city dedicated Terry Pettus Park on the shore of Lake Union.[1]
