Shenfield is a major station on the Great Eastern Main Line from Liverpool Street station in the City of London to places in the East of England.

It is located in Shenfield in the borough of Brentwood in Essex, England.

The station is served by fast trains on the main line to Liverpool Street and also the stopping services of the Shenfield Metro of which it is the eastern terminus. It is proposed that the Crossrail scheme will terminate here.

The station is 20 miles (32.2 km) down line from Liverpool Street. Because of its elevated and exposed situation, many passengers agree that in winter, Shenfield is the coldest station on the entire length of the Southend line.
