Mistake

The above IAAF article mentions that the article has listed that Vili had a Scottish father, when in fact he is English. Let's be careful to get our citations and facts right in future. Sillyfolkboy (talk) (edits)Join WikiProject Athletics! 11:04, 17 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

IAAF says she's no longer Vili; her profile is under Valerie Adams now and says "During a couple of years she took Vili as surname." Major changes probably need more elaborate information, but be ready for it. Sideways713 (talk) 18:45, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She's competing under Valerie Adams now as shown on the TV for the Commonwealth games.124.168.72.17 (talk) 14:49, 9 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Mistake

David Storl also belongs to the mentioned category

Adams is one of only eight athletes (along with Usain Bolt, Veronica Campbell-Brown, Jacques Freitag, Yelena Isinbayeva, Jana Pittman, Dani Samuels, and David Storl) to win world championships at the youth, junior, and senior level of an athletic event.
