Synopsis
A dramatised personal testimony by a legendary woman partisan from the Upper Po valley, around Pavia – Mamma Togni. She is called into the streets to help people resist a meeting being organised by Fascists. She then tells about her time as a nurse, helping wounded partisans in World War II. This piece was first performed in Pavia in 1971, and was then published as part of Guerra di popolo in Cile (1973) [1]
