Joe Mande (born March 16, 1983) is an American stand-up comedian and writer based in New York City.
Career
Joe has appeared on such TV shows as VH1's Best Week Ever and Conan.[1] He is also the author of the book Look At This Fucking Hipster.
In 2009, Time Out New York named Joe the city's “Best New Comedian.”[2]
In 2012, Mande wrote on the third season of the Adult Swim series Delocated. He is currently writing for the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation as well as the upcoming Comedy Central sketch series The Nick Show Kroll.
Joe is an alumni of Emerson College in Boston.[3]
Twitter Rascal
Joe Mande is a prolific comedic twitterer, whom some proclaim a twitter rascal.[4] In 2011 Mande rubbed NBA player Gilbert Arenas the wrong way when the comedian made several tweets referencing tweets Arenas had made about his poor treatment of women and the many ridiculous twitter profile photos Arenas had used. As well as subsequently re-tweeted Arenas malformed response tweets.[5]
