Pokiri is a 2006 Telugu action movie directed by Puri Jagannadh. Mahesh Babu, Ileana, and Prakash Raj are in the lead roles.

Sypnopsis

Pandu (Mahesh Babu) is a mafia man who lives a life like a thug. He falls in love with Sruthi(Ileana), an aeorbics instructor, at first sight. Because Pandu is a crimnal, Sruthi hesitates to confess her love to him. After several incidents, Pandu gets invovled in two rival gangs- Narayana gang and Ali Baba gang. He is now after Ali Baba who provoked him against Narayana gang. Pandu also loses Sruthi because of Ali Baba. How Pandu tackles Ali Baba in a new form deals the rest of the plot.
