Tia Sharp is a 12-year-old London schoolgirl. The last confirmed sighting of her was on August 3, 2012 in New Addington, England.
Disappearance
Tia Sharp's grandmother's partner told police that Tia left her house in New Addington to travel to Croydon five miles away to buy shoes in the Whitgift Shopping Centre.[1] Detectives investigating the case say they have had fifty-five reported sightings of Tia, but none has been substantiated.[2] On August 7, Tia Sharp's uncle, David Sharp, made a plea for Tia's safe return.[3][4]
A body was discovered in her grandmother's home on 10 August 2012.[5] A search has been launched for Stuart Hazell AKA Junfan Kandoo (the partner of Tia's grandmother) as prime suspect, after the discovery of the body.[6] The identity of the body has yet to be revealed yet.
