Bir Pind is a village in Nakodar. Nakodar is a tehsil in the city Jalandhar of Indian state of Punjab.
About Bir Pind
Bir Pind is approximately 425 kilometers from New Delhi and almost 120 kilometers from Amritsar. It is situated at Nurmahal road 4 km far from Nakodar. Nawa Pind Shonkia Da is the neighbouring village of Bir Pind. A project to build a Primary school, Secondary school and a Plus 2 School started on April 2008 and is expected to be completed in Spring 2010.
Sports
Most of youngsters are intersted in playing kabaddi, soccer and cricket. Everything is managed by STAR YOUTH SPORTS CLUB BIRPIND. Every year, in the month of Jan, a tournament is organised by the club for the youngsters with the help of NRI's. Moreover, they won many tournament held in other villages .
