James Peter Faulkner (born 29 April 1990[1]) is a cricketer who plays for Tasmania. Faulkner is an all-rounder, and in the 2010–11 Sheffield Shield season he made 300 runs at 30 and took 36 wickets at 17.72.[2] On 1 February 2012, Faulkner made his Twenty20 International debut for Australia against India.[3]

James Faulkner is the son of Peter Faulkner, who also played first-class cricket for Tasmania.

During the 2012 Indian Premier League (IPL) players auction, he was bought by Kings XI Punjab for $190,000.[4]
