Fair use rationale for Image:Hgray.gif
Image:Hgray.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Politics
The Arlington Press collection of his strips contains a sequence from around the forties where Daddy dies then a few years later comes back out of hiding. It is considered bad taste to say what was widely understood The latter sequence happened when Roosevelt died. The former like the latter was intended as a comment on the New Deal and the democrats. This comment is intended to support inclusion the specific political views which were just added to the article. Jplatt39 (talk) 13:03, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Disputed reference
Your article claims that his parents died while he was in high school. The Lombard Historical Society page indicates that his parents were alive in 1927, when he bought a home for them, and that his father passed away in 1944.
Also, one of your references, http://www.bu.edu/phpbin/archives-cc/app/details.php?id=7858&return=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bu.edu%2Fphpbin%2Farchives-cc%2Fapp%2Fbrowse.php%3Fletter%3DG%26sort_column%3Dcomposite_name%26sort_direction%3DASC%26per_page%3D10%26offset%3D68%26set_page%3Dprev in the 2nd paragraph of the biograpy, states that the family moved in the second decade of the 1900s.http://www.lombardhistory.org/annie.htm
