please get the years accurate: the presidents are president from odd numbered years to odd numbered years. Reagan was prez from 1/20/81 to 1/20/89, noon of each day to noon of each day. I think it should be removed. The data it is attempting to demonstrate is false. Look recently, after the elections in 2009-2010 congress would have been a "split" congress with the Republicans controlling the House and Democrats controlling the Senate (however, no longer a super majority). Logarithmic

From an economic and political point of view, wouldn't it make more sense to display this as logarithmic rather than linear? This way the percent difference by each year can be understood better. Zpowers (talk) 00:07, 3 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
