Band name
True or false: this word comes from the Latin prefix for 1000. 66.245.2.190 17:26, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
False. The band made up the name. It comes from the word 'melancholy' (read the first paragraph of the text...) Mattingly23 17:50, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Language
The text says that the band originally sang in Swedish. Could this be clarified by adding that the band now sings in ... English? I'm assumming English, but since I don't know for sure, I'm not going to make this change myself. --Spiff666 18:37, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
False. They began with english songs.
They did in fact originally sing in Swedish, I am unsure of when and why they changed to singing in English but they're bio on the millencolin website does confirm they originally sang in swedish. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.140.250.159 (talk • contribs)
- From the web site: Erik, Mathias and Nikola started the band in October -92 in Örebro Sweden, back then we were playing in other punkbands and singing in Swedish. - They sang in Swedish with other bands, not with Millencolin. - Mattingly23 13:41, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Founding the band vs. Years active
In the article it says the band was founded in 1992, but years active states 1988-present. Which is true? (Personally I cannot believe that they formed in 1988 only to wait for 5 years to have their first release, but that's just me and I simply don't know.)--82.83.212.208 09:04, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Since their website gives 1992 as the relevant date, I guess that is the right thing.--Asdirk 09:05, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Single List
It needs one, it was quite possibly deleted too, why? scatman839 (talk) 23:34, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
- I just added the single list. Feel free to add if something is missing. Narking (talk) 17:14, 30 June 2008 (UTC)
Same Old Tunes
There's an album missing from the discography section. http://www.amazon.com/Same-Old-Tunes-Millencolin/dp/B00000AGA6
- No there isn't. Read the very first entry: Tiny Tunes (later re-released as Same Old Tunes)... --IllaZilla (talk) 14:14, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
Mainstream Success?
I'm pretty sure the band have never had any "mainstream success". This section should be renamed. If they were success in a particular country, that could be mentioned in this section. Jonathanmjefferies (talk) 12:31, 14 September 2012 (UTC)
