Dubious

I cannot find any reliable reference to the stadium having been built in 1860. Longwayround (talk) 10:44, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a quote directly from PNE official website

Whilst many sides have shifted about from spot to spot in their short or long term history, Preston have remained loyal to the piece of turf in PR1, making it their home since 21st January 1875 when the Club's members first took out a lease on the plot of land.

The reference to a plot of land rather than stadium would cast serious doubt on the 1860 date quoted. Also would the ground take 15 years to build or be used? unlikely. Unless anyone can provide a citation i suggest the date be removed. Lemsterboy (talk) 23:23, 15th September 2012 —Preceding undated comment added 22:24, 15 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
