John Adams

You have recently created the article John Adams, Sr.. This was deleted in accordance with Wikipedia's deletion policies. Please do not recreate the article: if you disagree with the article's deletion, you may ask for a review at Wikipedia:Deletion review.—WAvegetarianCONTRIBUTIONSTALKEMAIL 00:41, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I tagged it for deletion because it wasn't apparent to me that he had done anything notable other than sire a future president out of the 3, 4 maybe I can't remember, children that he had. I didn't think that the article would ever expand much beyond what was already covered in the John Adams article. I'm not actually able to delete articles as I am not an admin. This means that an admin agreed with me and deleted it twice. The second time you recreated it, you added more information. What I ended up doing is merging the only thing in your article that I didn't find in John Adams into the Early life section, specifically the birth and death years of Sr. Currently, the article you created redirects to John Adams. If you think you can write an article that is more than a stub about Sr., then you may follow this link and write it up. I just don't think there is much to say about him that isn't adequately covered in the article on Jr., but I have been wrong before.—WAvegetarianCONTRIBUTIONSTALKEMAIL 03:46, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Yes. If you can write up a bio on him, by all means do so. Just follow the link above. —WAvegetarianCONTRIBUTIONSTALKEMAIL 01:50, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]
