Jesse Tittsworth (DJ Tittsworth) is a DJ, producer, record label owner, and club owner based in the Washington, D.C. area.[1] Jesse Tittsworth became interested in dance music and hip hop in the 80's and later became a DJ deep in the drum'n'bass rave culture. In the early 2000s, Jesse Tittsworth started to become recognized as a producer of Baltimore Club singles as well as a DJ. His popularity as a DJ and producer led him to co-found T&A (Tittsworth & Ayres) Records in 2006 with DJ Ayres (from The Rub). T&A Records has been instrumental in the growth of the moombahton genre (a new genre born out of DC) by being the first to featured artist from Dave Nada to Munchi while remaining an independent label. In 2008 Tittsworth released his first full-length album on Plant Music entitled "Twelve Steps" which includes artist such as Pitbull, Kid Sister, Nina Sky, Pase Rock, and more.[2] In 2010 Tittsworth opened U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC as a co-owner with DJ Will Eastman.[3] In 2011 U Street Music Hall was named the #6 night club in the US by ClubPlanet.com for being a non-flashy club with a focus on the DJs and the music.[4] Jesse Tittsworth then released a four track EP with Alvin Risk in 2011 entitled "Two Strokes Raw" that features the singles "Pendejas" and "La Campana". MTV Iggy named "Pendejas" the #3 most important moombahton song and "La Campana" is featured on the soundtrack for the video game FIFA 2012.[5]
