Alexander "Sasha" Vladimirovich Samarin (Template:Lang-ru; born June 15, 1998 in Moscow) is a Russian figure skater. He is the 2012 JGP Slovenia bronze medalist.[1]
Career
Samarin is coached by Inna Goncharenko since his childhood. He trains at CSKA Moscow with his teammates including Elena Radionova.
In the 2009–2010 season, Samarin competed in the novice event at the 2010 NRW Trophy in Dortmund, Germany, winning the gold medal. He also won the silver medal at the International Crystal Skate 2010 in Odintsovo, Russia. In 2011-2012 season, he withdrew from the 2012 Russian Junior Championships due to illness.
In 2012-2013, Samarin competed in his first ISU Junior Grand Prix event, winning the bronze medal at the 2012 JGP Slovenia.
