Bellamy Young (born Amy Young 19 February 1970)[1] is an American television, film, and theatre actress.

Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Young graduated from Asheville High School in 1987, Yale University in 1991,[2] and the British American Drama Academy at Oxford University in England. She has guest starred in numerous television shows including CSI: Miami, Scrubs, The West Wing, Grey's Anatomy and Two and a Half Men.

Young has also starred in several Broadway shows including The Life[3][4] and Randy Newman's Faust.[5] In addition to television and Broadway, she also has appeared in movies, with roles in We Were Soldiers and Mission: Impossible III. Young appeared in ABC's Dirty Sexy Money as Ellen Darling, the eldest daughter-in-law of the Darling family.

Young currently stars on the ABC show Scandal as First Lady Mellie Grant and has a recurring role on CBS's Criminal Minds as Beth Clemmons.
