Posta Veche is a district within Chisinau, Moldova close to Riscani and Ciocana. It is notable because it is one of the few areas of the city where private housing is more common than large Soviet era tower blocks. It is known to be one of the poorer areas of Chisinau and has a reputation for crime. However, in recent years a degree of gentrification has taken place within the district.
