I think many people would argue that HAFTR is not a centrist institution. This may be the opinion of the original editor, but HAFTR has certainly been described as liberal, right wing, and even extremist (based on the individual offering his or her opinion). The school's political and religious stances have not been placed on a spectrum using any objective criteria. As such, barring evidence to the contrary, I am deleting the "centrist" label.

There needs to be more info about this partnership...and a seperate page covering Rambam Mesivta.

No HAFTR Alumnus was involved in the 'HEY Arnold' Show. This is false information and is vandalism to the page. I recommend action be taken against the next person to post this 'fact.' This is internet bullying of someone the poster knows personally. This does not meet the Wikipedia standards.

The "Hey Arnold" hack has been fixed.

However, vis-a-vis the more recent (summer 2009) controversy, I hope the pro-Friedman person is not on the east coast, because it is a Chilul HaShem to be posting on Shabbat! —Preceding unsigned comment added by A11147066 (talkcontribs) 14:15, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Closing of girls' school

Recently I restored the deleted passage on the closing of the girls' school, and now have pared it down to essential and properly sourced content [1]. Hopefully this will not continue to be a passage of edit warring, in which case I will ask that the page be protected. JNW (talk) 19:21, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I realize that some of the previous edits may well have been made in good-faith, in an attempt to present a rounded view of the events; if so, it's not my intention to be chastising. But, especially with controversial content, the sources must be airtight in conforming to Wikipedia guidelines. JNW (talk) 19:31, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

JNW--thanks for your assistance. I am the one who was the first to add references to try and get things under control. Actually, there have been further journal articles in the Five Towns that could be cited to provide more detail, but since some Machon haTorah advocates seem to be attempting to misuse Wikipedia to fuel their flame war, you are probably correct that a simple, bare bones approach is best. --- A11147066 —Preceding unsigned comment added by A11147066 (talkcontribs) 14:54, 19 July 2009 (UTC) there is so much weed at haftr that it could be considered a dispensary. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.12.88.140 (talk) 18:55, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
