Sanju K. Bansal (born August 28, 1969)[1] is an American businessman. He has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer of MicroStrategy since 1993, previously serving as vice president. Before joining MicroStrategy, Mr. Bansal was a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, a worldwide technical and management consulting firm, from 1987 to 1990. Mr. Bansal serves as a member of the board of directors of The Advisory Board Company, a research services company listed on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. He received an S.B. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.S. in Computer Science from The Johns Hopkins University.[2]

Sanju Bansal has been with MicroStrategy since 1990, first as Vice President of Consulting, then Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer since 1993. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board since November 2000.<ref>BusinessWeek Executive Profile<ref>
