The Australian Premier League or simply the APL, is the second highest level in Australian football. Presently it has one division located in the Australian state of Queensland. This competition, known as the APL Queensland Conference will be first played in the 2013.

On 3 October 2012 the APL Queensland Conference was officially launched.[1] All bar three of the FFA's member federations will introduce APL 'conferences' in 2013 - Football West, Football Federation Victoria and Northern New South Wales Football Football are to follow the year after.[2]
