The HTC J Butterfly is a smartphone designed and developed by HTC. Unveiled on 17 October 2012 by Japanese carrier KDDI, the J Butterfly would be released in December 2012 in Japan. It is the first smartphone in the world to feature a [1080p]] display.[3] The phone will arrive with Android version 4.1, dubbed Jelly Bean, a quad-core 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, an 8-megapixel camera. It comes with 2 GB of RAM and a 2,020 mAh battery.[2] After a long time, There is going to be a mobile phone with infrared[1]

Since July 2012, rumours surfaced about the existence of the first 1080p HTC phablet for US carrier Verizon. However, it was KDDI that would be the first carrier to release such a phone. The J Butterfly has a 5-inch "Super LCD 3" display with full HD resolution (1920x1080 pixels). This translates to a pixel density of 440 ppi.[2]
