ITnet is being scrapped, HEAnet are taking over the task of connecting the rest of the ITs.

HEAnet also connect over 3000 schools as part of the Schools Broadband Program.

The network map is worth linking to: http://www.hea.net/

The links to the networks in the USA have been discontinued in favour of using the GEANT and Global Crossing (General Internet) links.
