Droidcon is the franchise name for a series of software developer conferences organized and held outside the USA. The conferences are focused on software development for Google's Android mobile framework.

Droidcon [1] arose to fill the void that Google left through providing inadequate developer support and resources. Droidcon started in Europe as a grass roots effort led by developers themselves. In 2012, Droidcon events were held in Berlin, London, Tunis, Bangalore, Romania, Amsterdam, and Murcia (Spain).
