'M32' is the alias for solo recordings by Joe Perkins' from Bristol in South-West England. Joe writes, records, engineers, mixes and arranges everything on his records by himself, and plays all instruments on them - lead guitars, rhythm guitars, bass guitars, synthesisers & pianos, drums, percussion, vocals, etc.

The alias 'M32' is a reference to Joe's home city of Bristol in South-West England. The 'M32' is the motorway that leads into Bristol - 32 also happens to be Joe's lucky number.

Joe is spending the Summer of 2006 recording demos in his home studio, and already has 12 songs written for an album. Completed songs include 'Neutronstar: Anthem of Destruction', an unusually heavy piece of death metal with lots of neoclassically-influenced fast guitar lead, and 'Can't Say Goodbye', a soft guitar ballad written for his girlfriend, Jennifer.

Joe cannot be confined to just one genre - he favours hard rock/metal music over all others, but has written songs incorperating aspects of Death Metal, Thrash Metal, Neoclassical, Reggae, Polka, Country/Bluegrass, Celtic/New Age jigs, Boogies, Piano Ballads, and even a complex 6-minute prog-rock epic.

Joe cites his influences as The Darkness, Muse, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, John5, Cacophony, Status Quo, & Led Zeppelin to name but a few.

Samples of Joe's music can be heard at The Official M32 MySpace
