Alexander "Sasha" Vladimirovich Samarin (Template:Lang-ru; born June 15, 1998 in Moscow) is a Russian figure skater. He is the 2012 JGP Slovenia and 2012 JGP Germany bronze medalist.^[1]

Career

Samarin is coached by Inna Goncharenko since his childhood. He trains at CSKA Moscow with his teammates including Elena Radionova.

In the 2009–2010 season, Samarin won gold in the novice event at the 2010 NRW Trophy in Dortmund, Germany, and also took silver at the International Crystal Skate 2010 in Odintsovo, Russia.

He debuted on the ISU Junior Grand Prix series, winning a pair of bronze medals at JGP events in Slovenia and Germany. He is the first alternate for the 2012 JGP Final.
