North Woods Law (NWL) is an American documentary television series on the Animal Planet narrated by voice over actor Charles Parnell. The reality series that follows Maine's elite game warden service, set to premiere this March. This patrol unit navigates the Pine Tree State's rugged terrain during hunting season - one of the busiest and most perilous times of the year. Each punch of the time clock is a ticket to extreme danger and drama as undercover stings and intense rescues are all in a day's work. Whether they're tracking bears on dangerous mountains or busting drunk drivers on ATVs, these wardens risk life and limb to protect animals and serve the people of Maine. The series premiered on March 11th, 2012. [1]
The show follows the exploits of a number of Wardens from all regions of the state. Wardens who are frequently seen on the show include Josh Bubier, Brock Clukey, Alan Curtis, Mike Joy , Rick LaFlamme, Kris MacCabe [2] , Jonathan Parker, Chris Simmons[3], Tim Spahr, Scott Thrasher, and Kim Bates.
Although the show is aired in many countries, the Animal Planet channel has so far not released DVDs of the series outside of the US.
