If you're here it's probably because you're interested in learning a little about me and my editing interests. I am originally from Canada, but moved to the United States several years ago for grad school, eventually emerging with a Master's degree in international relations. My interests are pretty diverse, and editing Wikipedia seems like a great excuse to learn about topics I wouldn't ordinarily research. One area I'd like to explore is the application of collaborate tools and Wikis in a policy context. I think that, as time goes on, we'll learn to leverage these kinds of platforms not just as a way of democratizing information, but also as a means to improve political decision-making, and even aiding in humanitarian crisis management.

I've created a couple article on diplomats and political figures, in addition to building the International relations project portal (still under construction). I've been working on growing that project and doing article assessments, but in the future I'd like to eventually create some more ambitious articles. I also do a little bit of cleanup and copyediting work, adding citations to unreferenced articles, helping resolve NPOV disputes, and reviewing new articles. I'm still on a learning curve, so if I do something wrong, let me know!
