Hina Khan(born in 2 October, 1987 Srinagar) is an Indian actress with Muslim ethnicity. She is known for her role of female lead in the television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai in which she has worked for almost 4 years.[1]She is ranking in 4th most popular Television Celebrity after Sakshi Tanwar, Shweta Tiwari and Sara Khan.
Personal life
Khan was born into a Muslim family in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir but later moved to New Delhi for education. Her family consist of her Parents and a brother Aamir Khan. She and her brother Aamir studied together in same class. She currently resides in Mumbai with her family.
Career
Khan did her MBA from CCA School of Management, Gurgaon. She wanted to be a Journalist. She was selected for the training of Air Hostess but due to Malaria she could not attend the training. She went in for auditions to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai with her friend. She did not take the audition seriously, but very next day she got a call from the producer that she has been selected for the main lead role Akshara. In an episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, there was scene in which Akshara made jewelry designs for Naitik; the designs were made by Hina Khan herself to be used in the shooting.
