England's World Cup 2006 preliminary squad
A 23-man preliminary squad has been named for England's forthcoming Football World Cup 2006 campaign. Initially the exclusion of some well regarded players caused some shock to the public and their club managers. Even Sven himself has described it as a gamble, but only time will prove their replacements heroes or villains.
