Heráclito Fontoura Sobral Pinto (November 5, 1893 BarbacenaRio de Janeiro, November 30, 1991) was a Brazilian lawyer known for his human rights activism and devout Catholicism. He strongly opposed dictator Getúlio Vargas and worked against Brazil's later military regime following the military coup of 1964.
