Honestly, I don't know for sure if the Nintendo 3DS uses 24-bit or 32-bit color depth. I reverted your edit on the grounds that the amount of colors – 16.7 million – isn't enough to determine the color depth. This article might help explain the concept in more detail. Unfortunately, I've discovered that a lot of specs listed on the comparison page are uncited, and some of the sources used are just blogs or based on unofficial data.
