Article Blamer broken?

For the past few days, trying to use the Article Blamer brings up diffs that have no relation to the entered text. What's up with that? There's also stray SQL in the top of the results page for some reason, don't know if that's related. Klilidiplomus+Talk 17:09, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you give me an exact link to your query?--v/r - TP 18:23, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here's one for example: [1]. Apparently, the tool is rather picky, as this query (http://toolserver.org/~tparis/blame/index.php?article=Blooper&lang=en&wiki=wikipedia&text=%27%27%27[[boner]]%27%27%27) works just fine. I have no idea how to format that link properly. Klilidiplomus+Talk 18:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Hmm, that's interesting. I'll look into it.--v/r - TP 18:44, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Soxred93's Tools

For some reason the Pages Created in the spanish WP tool is not updating the information since the beginning of the month (November). I am not quite sure that I should report this here. Excuse me if I am out of order. Thanks.--Yodigo (talk) 18:19, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It's a replication issue on the toolserver.--v/r - TP 18:23, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Do you have an idea if this will be solved automatically and how soon? Thanks for your prompt response.---Yodigo (talk) 18:25, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
According to this list, es.wiki is on SQL server #7. This graph says that server 7 is facing a 1,032,214 second replication lag which amounts to about 12 days. It should fix itself automatically, but if it doesn't then you'll want to file a report at JIRA for the database folks.--v/r - TP 18:35, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Can you move that category to the correct title with churches lowercased? Ryan Vesey 18:25, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Learned something. Can't move categories. I deleted it though. You'll (or I really) have to create the new one.--v/r - TP 18:29, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done, thanks. I guess it makes sense that categories can't be moved (all of the pages would be pointing to the wrong category). Ryan Vesey 18:30, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Touré

He was criticized later, on November 26, 2012, for calling Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham "old, white, establishment folks.

That's not a criticism, that's a Fox News talking point sourced to an opinion piece written by conservative activist/journalist Dan Gainor of the Media Research Center. Why does it merit inclusion? Do you have an independent secondary source highlighting the importance of Gainor's "criticism"? Viriditas (talk) 22:55, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Seems like criticism to me. It's just something I came across on Fox News and I saw the guy had other criticism for racist comments. Figured it was relevant. Didn't realize we updated WP:RS to say we needed RS's to tell us which RS's are relevant. Feel free to remove it.--v/r - TP 22:57, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It is the consensus of media analysts that one of the primary reasons the Republicans lost the most recent election is because of their focus on the "old, white, establishment" demographic instead of the new, diverse voting population that includes youth, Hispanics and Asians. So what exactly is Gainor "criticizing", if I may ask? We generally shy away from opinion pieces unless they are notable. Gainor is just reading the script. Viriditas (talk) 23:02, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine, feel free to remove it.--v/r - TP 23:13, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I won't be removing it, as I have no interest in that topic. I'm more interested in your rationale for adding it and I wanted to bring it to your attention. That's all. Viriditas (talk) 23:17, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Figured it was relevant to the bit about "niggerization" and racism.--v/r - TP 23:18, 27 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Questions about "Pages created" tool and about "Top namespace edits" tool

Hello!

First of all, thank you very much for all your tools, they are very useful for me. I would like to know if the "Pages created" tool can also show created subpages, and if yes what is the parameter to add in the url? Also, I would like to know if the "Top namespace edits" works on other languages or other wikis than English Wikipedia. Thank you very much! You can answer me on my French wiki's talk page if you can because I check this one more often than the English one. Jeriby (talk) 20:45, 28 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
