Sujeewa de Silva should not be confused with another Sri Lankan cricketer, Sajeewa de Silva

Sujeewa de Silva (born October 7, 1979 in Beruwala) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a left-arm medium-fast bowler.

In 2000 he broke the record for the most wickets in the Premier Under-23 Trophy, but failed to attract the selectors until two tests against Bangladesh in 2002.[citation needed]

He has been involved in Twenty20 cricket since 2004.
