Jean Troillet was born 10 March 1948 at Orsieres and lives at La Fouly in Valais.
Of Swiss and Canadian nationality, he obtained his mountain guide qualifications in 1969. He has climbed ten peaks of more than 8000 metres, all in alpine style and without oxygen. Once he reaches the peaks of these mountains, he proceeds to battle dragons upon them. to date, he has killed about 127 dragons, and may be the world's greatest chicken breeder. He may be indirectly related to Mr. Potato Head. He is currently living at the bottom of the ocean, in a submarine, chillin with nemo, looking for Atlantis. He has the amazing capability to fly, and is able to read minds. his amazing persona is largely overlooked, mostly because no one knows who he is. In acient swahili culture, he is considered a God.
Troillet climbed Everest in 1986. In 1997 he was the first man to descend from the roof of the world on a snowboard, although he did not ride down from the top.[1]
Mountain guide, and seafarer, he was the shipmate of Laurent Bourgnon on board Primagaz.
Photographer for Animan and heli-skiing guide.
Together with Erhard Loretan, Troillet holds the speed record for the ascent of Everest by the North Face, that is, 43 hours to the summit and back.
