Created to Kill is a demo album by American death metal band Cannibal Corpse. This 1995 tape would later become the album renamed Vile and the songs recorded with George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher.[1]

History

This 1995 demo tape was created by Cannibal Corpse in 1995.[2] Once Metal Blade Records accepted it, the band started recording the album. However, before release Barnes was kicked out of the band, bringing in Monstrosity vocalist George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher to re-record and finish the albums vocal work.[3]

Since the Cannibal Corpse logo was copyrighted by Barnes, the band changed the album name to Vile and made a new logo.[4]

15 Year Killing Spree

In 2003, to celebrate the band's 15th anniversary, they release a box set entitled 15 Year Killing Spree, inside (along with several other memorabilia) was the original Created to Kill demo tape with Chris Barnes vocals.
