Alna is a borough of the city of Oslo, Norway. It is named after the river Alna.

Demographics

January 1, 2004, there were 43,612 people living in the borough. Of these 21,199 (49%) were male. There were 968 immigrants from western countries and 13,990 from non-western countries 43%. The countries with most immigrants were Turkey (1,170), Pakistan (1,165), Sri Lanka (1,161), the former Yugoslavia (1,078), and Somalia (756). There were 677 births in 2003, and 385 deaths. The same year 6,875 people moved into the borough, while 6,767 moved out. The average income for the borough was NOK 220,390, somewhat lower than the average for the city of 254,429. [1]

The borough of Alna Is also the most crime average boroughs in Oslo, followed by Grorud.
