Template:Future film Shrek 4 is the planned third sequel to Shrek and sequel to Shrek 3. This movie will be made by DreamWorks Animation and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Currently, there is no announcement on when this movie will be released or when production or filming will start. It could possibly be in 2010 on Shrek's 3-year movie cycle. The plan right now, as reported by Antonio Banderas on an MTV interview, is that Antonio will play two parts in the film, Puss in Boots and Puss in Boots' evil brother.
