Boyfriend is the debut single by the South Korean boy band of the same name under Starship Entertainment. It was simultaneously performed live on Mnet's M!Countdown on the same date as the official release with as well as the week special performance for Let's Get It Started on KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo.

Background and promotion

Starship Entertainment revealed some members of Boyfriend before debuting The first member of Boy Friend, Noh Min Woo, was unveiled through K-Will’s music video for “I Can’t Find the Words” earlier this week. The group has experience acting as K-Will’s back dancers for his appearance on “Quiz That Changes the World” in January.

On March 23rd, the label shared a photo of two identical twin brothers, who will be members of their upcoming ‘Boy Friend’ boy band. Named Youngmin and Kwangmin, the ‘pretty boy’ twins have already caught the attention of music fans for their anime-like looks.[1]

Starship Entertainment has revealed new profile pictures of Jung Min, the fourth member of their upcoming boy group, Boyfriend![2]

Starship Entertainment is set to debut a new boy group named “Boyfriend” on May 26th. The group consists of 6 members with an average member age of 18. The 6 members include Dong Hyun, Young Min, Kwang Min, Minwoo, Hyun Seong, and Jeong Min.[3]

Starship Entertainment has just debuted their newest boy group named “Boyfriend!” The new group just released their debut EP, “Boyfriend” along with the MV for their title track which is also titled ‘Boyfriend’ and features a cameo from SISTAR’s Bora. The MV is a bit different from their water floor teaser from last week. The MV is rather colorful and fun loving.[4]

Idol group Boyfriend has made a hot debut with their first single, “Boyfriend“. The boys worked with production Brave Brothers to create five tracks, two of which are instrumentals. Boyfriend will be promoting “Boyfriend” as their title song. The group started promoting "Boyfriend" on Mnet MCountdown on May 26, 2011. It was also promoted on the shows KBS Music Bank, MBC Music Core and SBS Inkigayo. The song "Let's Get It Started (Intro)" was used for their hot debut special performance for Mcountdown, Music Bank and Inkigayo.
