On land, Ulrich is a 13 year old boy (and 14 from season 3) of medium height, brown hair and usually wears green. He came from a wealthy family and is an only son. He sees very few parents who do not take care of him and his education, and he are constantly pushing for it focuses on his studies (in Revelation, comparing their averages Odd, we learn that was only 10.75/20): his father, in particular, proves ruthless with him about it, and cares only for his academic achievements (in last round, we learn that he has not spoken to his son for 1 year!) developed Ulrich eventually compete with him. Ulrich is internal to Kadic and shares a room with Odd, with whom he generally refers spite of the vagaries of the latter (and the fact that Odd is almost his antagonist). He is not a very good student, although, unlike Odd, he makes efforts (in the first two seasons, he appears rather as an average student, but he gets worse in season 3, mainly because of XANA). However, he is an excellent player soccer and practising the gifted Pencak Silat. He is mysterious, almost shy. He is in love with Yumi Ishiyama, his best friend, with whom he shares an ambiguous relationship between love and friendship. He says he is able to die for it. However, he is totally insensitive to the charms of Sissi who clearly love with him, ever the tease. He is constantly rivalling with William, who also loves Yumi. Although, unlike Odd, he is quiet and does not like to be noticed, Ulrich is considered the most handsome student and remains the subject of much coveted female: Sissi, Milly, Emily (Another student Kadic) and many others (for Yumi, the case is more complex). He is the indifferent, but it is easily seen that he is not insensitive (Although Sissi rise above his annoyance), which annoys other students: In My Enemy's Enemy, says Hervé disgusted by his "air the great seducer," and Marabounta, William calls him a "show-off". The biggest flaw Ulrich is indeed his pride mingled with his bad temper, sometimes causes problems, sometimes leading to sulk and refuse to help others for a while.

• Attacks: Coup de saber. He also disposed of shock waves in episode 49 (Franz Hopper) and burst laser (xanatifié in episode 62 disembodiment). It can also launch his sword to hit an enemy at a distance, but must do without for a few moments.
• Defences: The sword can absorb limited laser shots or other melee weapons.
• Powers: Super Sprint, triplicate and triangular (he uses only in the first 3 seasons)
• Vehicle: Overbike (Motorcycle with one wheel, with stern thruster, can fly)
