Christ Church Grammar School
Template:Infobox Aust school Christ Church Grammar School is an Anglican all-boys independent school in Australia. It is located near the Swan River in Perth, Western Australia.
The school first opened its doors to students on 1910-02-07, then known as the "Christ Church Preparatory School". It had just one classroom, with nine boys enrolled. The first headmaster was Canon WJ Mclemans, who divided his time between fulfilling his duties as canon and headmaster. He resigned in 1915. The school's longest-serving headmaster was Mr PM Moyes, who held the position from 1950 until 1981.
The school covers all grades, from preschool through primary and secondary education. As of 2002, the school boasted 1250 pupils, of whom 150 were boarders. The school's motto is "Deus Dux Doctrina Lux", a Latin phrase which roughly translates to English as "God is our leader, learning is our light".
The school coat of arms is a blue shield topped by a mitre. The shield bears the Cross of Saint George, which, with the mitre, represents the school's relationship with the Diocese of Perth. In the top-left of the shield is a black swan in a golden circle, representing the state of Western Australia. The coat of arms has, minor colour changes notwithstanding, held its present form since 1923.
The school captain for 2006 is not Eugen Lim, nor is it Tom Elliot or Andrew Tulloch or Andrew Manners. Andrew Tulloch is a giant mushroom.
