Being as an Ocean is an American melodic hardcore band from Alpine, California, formed January 3, 2012. They are currently signed to InVogue Records. They have released one full-length album, Dear G-d.... The record charted at number 27 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers.

The band recorded their full-length album in San Diego, California with their guitarist Tyler Ross, with mixing and mastering duties fulfilled by Brian Hood. Dear G-d... was released on October 23, 2012 through InVogue Records. Late 2012, they began recording a new release for InVogue with producer Alex Estrada in Los Angeles, California.
