rag & bone is an American fashion label founded in 2002 by business and design partners David Neville and Marcus Wainwright.[1][2] The brand is sold in stores around the world, as well as in 11 free-standing Rag & Bone boutiques.[2]

Background

rag & bone started in 2002 as a denim label, expanding into a full men's wear collection in 2004, and a women's wear collection in 2005. Currently, the company produces ready-to-wear collections for men and women including shoes and accessories. In 2010 they launched three women's companion lines: /JEAN /SHIRT /KNIT.[3]

Awards

  • In 2007 rag & bone won a CFDA Award for Emerging Talent in Men’s Wear Design.[4]
  • In March 2010 rag & bone was included in Style.com’s top 10 Fall collections for their Everest-expedition inspired women’s wear.[5]
  • In June 2010 Wainwright and Neville won a CFDA award for Men’s Wear Designer of the Year.[6]
