Andy Mellon is a musician based in London [1] In 2004 he joined the band Bellowhead as one of the original members. [2]

His work as a composer includes “The Hartlepool Monkey” for Streetwise Opera [3] and “An Axolotl Odyssey” for the Cultural Olympiad, which received its premiere at The Natural History Museum with the author DBC Pierre [4]

He was nominated for a BASCA composer award in 2011.[5]
