X (project name) is an upcoming action role-playing video game in developement by Monolith Soft for the Wii U.[1]

Development

The game was officially announced on January 23, 2013 on the Nintendo Direct video program. The trailer unveils resemblance in gameplay with a previous Monolith game, Xenoblade Chronicles, but characters also use fire weapons and mech vehicules. Battling against giant enemies also makes similarities to Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise.
