Vinod Bharathan (born 20 September 1969) is a Copenhagen based Indian film director and award winning short filmmaker. He is noted for his short films Karma Code and Limbo[1] . Limbohttp://www.filmschoolrejects.com/features/short-film-limbo-iphone-movie.php was shot using his iPhone, featuring Kat Herlo as a young woman hallucinating between dream and reality. Karma Code[2], a short film he made on a 10 day visit to his hometown, Kochi, has acquired him a critical acclaim for its style and pace. Vinod Bharathan is currently working on his debut feature film titled Karma Cartel[3]. Karma Cartel depicts 3 life changing days for a couple of young people in Kochi, a fast growing city in South India. The film features two prominent film actors of Mollywood ;Vinay Forrt and Rone David, and features newcomers Tony Luke, Shani Shaki, Becky Thomas, Arjun Chemparathy, Suraj Ramakrishnan and Sabumon.
